Obituaries

Mrs. Lolene P Moore, age 88 of Bassett, VA passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Moore, her parents, John Marshall Prillaman and Nannie Prillaman Woods, brothers, Buren, Gifford, Junior, Dewey and David Prillaman, sisters, Doris Blackwell, Louella Armstrong, Lucy Rakes and Mollie Dalton.

She is survived by two daughters, Janet Gwyn (Mike) and Beth Borowski (Bob), two grandchildren, Tony Gwyn and Eric Turner, two great grandchildren, Macon and Maddie Gwyn and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a mother, homemaker, caretaker and seamstress. She had a sewing business in her home over 50 years. She was a member of Dayspring Ministries in Bassett.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sammy Cardwell and Charlotte Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
