Michael Anthony Massey, 73, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He was born to the late Clemon L. Massey and Mary Prater Massey Marshall August 1, 1952.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Sammy Massey; and stepfather, Marvin Marshall.

After graduation, Michael found a fulfilling career as an electrician and as a housepainter. Mike was a quiet man who’s attention to detail served him well in his profession.

He is survived by his son, Tim Massey (Jennifer); sister, Judy Blackwell; stepsister, Julie Massey; brothers, Ronnie Massey (Helen), Larry Massey (Martha), Ricky Massey (Terry); stepbrother, Lee Massey; grandchildren, Evan Massey, Aiden Massey, Lincoln Massey; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
