At a special meeting on Friday, the Patrick County Board of Supervisors voted on a resolution objecting to the date set for a statewide redistricting referendum, claiming it violates state law. Spotsylvania County had already voted on a similar matter, and the city of Lynchburg appeared that it was going to do the same last night, but instead will consider plans to force the matter to court at a meeting next week.
