And the award for outstanding ensemble cast in a motion picture at the NAACP Image Awards virtual show goes to Sinners. The Ryan Coogler film was announced the winner during the third and final night of the virtual event, during which it also won outstanding stunt ensemble (television or motion picture) and outstanding cinematography in a motion picture.

Quinta Brunson won outstanding character voice-over performance (motion picture) for voicing Dr. Fuzzby in Zootopia 2, while her Abbott Elementary costar Tyler James William got outstanding directing in a comedy series for his work on “The Science Fair” episode of their show. 

Straw earned two awards via Teyana Taylor and Glynn Turman, who won outstanding supporting actress and actor in a television movie, limited-series or dramatic special, respectively.

The late Malcolm-Jamal Warner was posthumously awarded outstanding guest performance for his work on Murder in a Small Town.

Watch out, Broadway! Megan Thee Stallion is set to make her debut. She’s joined the cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, becoming the first female-identifying person to take on the role of Zidler, impresario of the Moulin Rouge nightclub.

Meg will flex her acting skills at New York City’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre for eight weeks, starting March 24 and ending May 17. The musical will end its Broadway run on July 26.

“Stepping onto the Broadway stage and joining the Moulin Rouge! The Musical team is an absolute honor,” Megan said in a statement. “I’ve always believed in pushing myself creatively and theater is definitely a new opportunity that I’m excited to embrace. Broadway demands a different level of discipline, preparation and storytelling, but I’m up for the challenge and can’t wait for the Hotties to see a new side of me.”

“Welcoming Megan Thee Stallion into the Moulin Rouge! The Musical community is a thrilling moment for us,” adds producer Carmen Pavlovic. “This historic casting is a major part of our closing celebrations: our farewell gift to Broadway audiences and one of our biggest announcements in the history of Moulin Rouge! News of Meg’s Broadway debut arrives after she teased a collaboration with Juvenile on her socials. Alongside a clip of her lip-synching and dancing to her verse on a new version of Juvie’s “B.B.B.,” she wrote, “BBB ft ME @juviethegreat. when you gonna drop it.” He responded, “Friday.”

Heated Rivalry is headed back to the cottage this summer.

Show creator Jacob Tierney and executive producer Brendan Brady told CBS Mornings Thursday that season 2 of the hit hockey romance is set to begin shooting in August and is expected to air in April 2027.

“There will be more Heated Rivalry on your TVs, like, truly as soon as humanly possible,” Tierney, who’s currently writing the episodes, said.

“Like the best parts of this show, just enjoy the yearn,” Brady added.

The hugely popular show, based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers book series, stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams as rivals-to-lovers hockey players Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander. Season 1 is available on HBO Max in the U.S.

In addition to yearning for season 2, fans will have to wait a little longer for Reid’s next book about the couple. Unrivaled, her seventh book in the series, was pushed back from a Sept. 29 release date to June 1, 2027.

To tide fans over, you can catch Storrie as he makes his debut hosting SNL this weekend. You’ll also soon be able to book a weekend at the Canadian cottage where the show filmed on Airbnb.

(SPOILER ALERT) Dearest gentle reader, do make haste toward your nearest Netflix account, as part 2 of Bridgerton season 4 is finally available to stream.

This fairy-tale fourth season has centered around Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek’s (Yerin Ha) love story.

While there are many references to the book that inspired this season — Julia Quinn’s An Offer from a Gentleman — perhaps none were as highly anticipated as the scene where the main lovers intimately bathe together.

Thompson and Ha spoke to ABC Audio about what it was like to bring that moment to life in the season’s eighth episode.

“There was so many logistical obstacles we had to overcome that I think we just tried to have as much fun with it as possible,” Ha said. “Very quickly the pressure of getting it right and the pressure of making sure the fans were happy with it was put off to the side because we were thinking, ‘How do I stay above water?'”

Thompson laughed, before chiming in, “How do I not drown?”

The actor continued, saying although he knows fans were looking forward to the scene, he doesn’t “really buy into this idea of having to live up to anything” from the books.

“Bridgerton is absolutely a show that wants to meet the fans where they are, but is also a show that’s trying to surprise people as well and bring people where they don’t expect,” Thompson said. “I don’t feel that pressure because I think it’s not our job to deliver what people want. Our job is just to tell this story in the way that we can.”

Robert Cosby Jr., the son of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby, has died at 23.

Mary Cosby shared news of her son’s death in a social media post on Wednesday.

“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord,” she wrote. “Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace.”

She added, “We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”

The Salt Lake City Police Department confirmed Cosby Jr.’s death to ABC News on Wednesday.

Police said they responded to a call for an overdose on Monday at an address associated with someone matching Cosby Jr.’s name and age in Salt Lake City, which turned into a death investigation.

The Police Department did not share a cause of death.

Bravo host Andy Cohen addressed the news on social media, writing, “Devastatingly sad news out of SLC. This is every parent’s worst nightmare. My heart is broken for Mary, and I am sending all my love to her and Robert Sr.”

Mary Cosby had recently shared a photo of her son on Instagram, prior to his death, writing in the caption, “#godfirst Love you all. My Beautiful Son.. I love him sm.”

Cosby Jr. was born to parents Mary Cosby and Robert Cosby Sr.

Mary Cosby’s Bravo cast bio states that she is “committed to supporting her son Robert Jr.’s sobriety and navigates life after the passing of her estranged mother.”

Connor Storrie is showing off his gift for accents in a new promo ahead of his appearance on SNL this weekend.

The Heated Rivalry star, who plays Russian hockey player Ilya Rozanov in the show, engages in an “accent duel” with SNL cast member James Austin Johnson.

Fellow SNL cast members Ashley Padilla and Marcello Hernandez shout out different accents for them to do, including German, Cajun, French, Shrek, Na’vi and Shakespeare — before Storrie delivers the final blow by doing the Russian accent he mastered on Heated Rivalry.

“When you get to Hell, tell them Rozanov sent you,” a cowboy hat-wearing Storrie says, before shooting Johnson to win the duel.

Things get a little too real when Johnson collapses to the floor and Padilla and Hernandez run to his side. “You killed him!” Padilla screams, as Storrie backs away.

Storrie hosts this Saturday’s episode with Mumford & Sons as the musical guest.

After Ashley Tisdale published her notorious essay about her “toxic mom group,” fans speculated that she was talking about a group that included fellow celebs Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor. Hilary has now responded to the controversy on the new episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.

While chatting with host Alex Cooper, Hilary was asked how she felt when the essay appeared. “I felt really sad,” she said. “I was pretty taken aback and felt just, like, sad.” 

She added, “I think I just was like, ‘Woah.’ It sucks to read something that’s not true, and it sucks on behalf of, like, six women and all of their lives.”

Hilary further told Alex that she didn’t know her husband, Matthew Koma, was going to respond to Ashley with an Instagram Story in which he wrote the fake headline, “When You’re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.”

“I was like, ‘Oh my God,'” she laughed. “I don’t tell him what he can and can’t post. He is so, like, fierce for me and, like, I love him for that.”

Hilary then went on to imply that she felt that Ashley had timed the news to coincide with the fact that the Lizzie McGuire star had recently stepped back into the spotlight with new music.

“I think it came at, like, the craziest time. … Like, the timing felt not great,” Hilary explained. “And I felt used.”

“Like, would this have happened had you not had your big resurgence and everything going on with you,” Alex responded. At that point, Hilary smiled and pointed at Alex, as if to say, “You got it.”

Even more Industry is on the way.

HBO has renewed its original drama series Industry for season 5, which the network says will be its last.

The fourth season of the series finishes its eight-episode run with the season finale’s premiere on March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, an hour earlier than usual, on both HBO and HBO Max.

It stars Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung, Max Minghella, Miriam Petche, Sagar Radia, Toheeb Jimoh, Charlie Heaton, Kiernan Shipka and more.

Season 4 follows Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Abela) at the top of their game as a new fintech darling comes on to the London scene. As their romantic and professional relationships evolve over the course of the season, their friendship does, too.

Mickey Down and Konrad Kay created, showrun, write, direct and executive produce Industry.

“For some time now we have been thinking about how best to end the show on an unparalleled high. Unlike some of our characters, we know when to leave a party.
