A single-vehicle crash on Appalachian Power around 3 a.m. this morning sent a woman to the hospital and knocked power out to 115 customers of Appalachian Power, according to the power company.
WHEE Radio is one of those customers affected.
At 5:25 a.m., Appalachian sent out a notice that crews are on-site and expect to have power restored by 1 p.m. this afternoon.
A sport utility type vehicle appeared to have left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
