AnnaLeigh Scarlet Gammons, 8 years old, of Spencer, Virginia, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born August 18, 2014 in Martinsville, to Alexander Gammons and Ganesa Branch.

She was in the second grade, enjoyed video games and playing on her tablet, and she loved her pets. She was “Queen Anna,” was very intelligent, and loved to write, paint, and color. Science was her favorite subject in school. She was always happy and smiling.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Stephen Branch.

In addition to her parents, AnnaLeigh is survived by her step-parents. Phillip Hancock and Caitlyn Willard; sisters, Macy Gammons and Ember Azbell; grandparents, James Azbell, Shirlon Noah, and Ginger Branch, step-grandmother, Candy Azbell; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other family members.

All services will be private.
