Obituaries

Buffy Marie Joyal, 45, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born November 5, 1976 in Plattsburg, New York to Rodney Joyal and Patricia Joyal.

She was a 1999 graduate of Magna Vista High School, and attended Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed eating out and NASCAR races.

Buffy is survived by her loving foster mother, Cyndi Gladden; four biological siblings; brother, Randy Gladden (Tia); aunt, Arlene Hall; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service will be Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 339 Chatham Road, Martinsville, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a Rescue Squad of your choice or to Buffy’s Church, Seventh-day Adventist Church, P. O. Box 3969, Martinsville, Virginia 24115.
