Corey Jarelle Gravely, 39, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024. He was born September 3, 1985, in Martinsville, Virginia to Elder Coretha Gravely and the late Elder Billy B Gravely.

Corey was a member of Mt Zion United Holy Church. He had a great sense of humor and loved to sing and make music whenever he could. Being a former athlete in high school, he loved sports and played football and basketball. Corey had a huge heart for family and friends and loved his children more than anything. He also loved animals, especially his dog Jigga man.

In addition to his mother, Corey is survived by his children, Kaya Gravely, Lilianna Gravely, and JaCorey Gravely and their mother Jessica Harris. He is also survived by his brother, Leandio Gravely.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Elder Lavarra Hagwood officiating. A visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service. There will be no repast following the service.

The family asks for friends and family to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 1:00 for the visitation instead of at the home.
