James Ernie Hundley 73, of Martinsville passed away on October 20, 2022 at Sovah of Martinsville. He was born in Virginia on August 11, 1949 the son of the late Morton Elbridge Hundley and the late Alice Marie Montgomery Hundley. He was also preceded in death by sisters; Betty Taylor and Linda Gillispie, brothers; Kenneth Hundley and Garry Hundley. James worked for I.E. DuPont for 23 years and retired from Nilit American in Greensboro and Martinsville with 20 years of service.

Surviving his loving wife of 46 years Linda Arnold Hundley, sons; Jason Erik Hundley of Philadelphia, PA and Kevin Brent Hundley of Martinsville, grandsons; Braden Travis Hundley and granddaughter Harper Ryann Hundley both of Martinsville, brother; Ricky Hundley (Susan) and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Monday, October 24 from 6-8 PM in the chapel of Bassett Funeral Service. All other services will be private.
