Joe Alvin Foley, 82, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022. He was born May 16, 1940, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Richard Foley and Zelma Whitlow Foley.

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard for six years. He was a dedicated employee of DuPont for thirty-five years, was of the Baptist faith, and a graduate of Drewry Mason High School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Livengood Foley; daughter, Pamela Ann Foley; and brother, Douglas Lee Foley.

He is survived by his son, Doug Foley (Teresa); grandchildren, Ciji Lankford (Terry), Taylor Bayliss (Brent), Brooke Alverson (Jay), Jakob Foley; great grandchildren, Colton Alverson, Sadie Alverson, Zachary Lankford and Mackenzie Lankford.
