Lorenzo Jerome Hairston, 63, of Spencer, Virginia, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at SOVAH Health Martinsville. He was born June 5, 1959, to Christine Reynolds Hairston and the late Lem K. Hairston. He was also preceded in death by a son, Lorenzo Hairston, Jr.

He had been a faithful employee at Bassett Furniture Industries, and was a member of Antioch Christian Church.

Lorenzo is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Hairston; sister, Annette Hairston; and two grandchildren, Omartae Gravely and Xavien Hairston.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Wright Funeral Service at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
