Margaret Vernida Hundley Fain, 80, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She was born June 27, 1944, in Henry County to the late John Adams Hundley and Clarris Vernida Barker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brewster Fain and brothers, Chester Hundley and Scott Hundley.

Margaret was a dedicated employee of Tultex, where she worked for more than twenty years before retiring. She was a faithful member of the First Assembly Church and lived her life with kindness and devotion. Margaret was known for her strong work ethic and warm personality, leaving a lasting impact on her coworkers, friends, and community. Her presence brought joy to those around her, and she will be remembered with love and admiration.

She is survived by her daughter, Bridget Fain; son, Jeffery Fain; sister, Betty Rudy; brothers, Daniel Hundley (Charlotte), Ed Hundley, and Tony Hundley (Gerline); and two grandchildren, Haley Gray and Shawn Gray.

A service will be held at a later date.
