Obituaries

Rachel Faye Cuff, 72, of Martinsville, Virginia, transitioned to her heavenly home Friday, February 13, 2026. She was born October 8, 1953, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Ivory G. Manns and Louella Pace Manns.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Hodges Altory Manns.

Rachel was of the Christian faith and attended Rebirth Ministries. She loved going to church, loved her church family and loved God with all her might. She was a resolute worker for over 35 years in the dietary and housekeeping departments at Mulberry Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation. Cleaning was her specialty and she lovingly put herself into each thing she did. Rachel loved her family greatly and the time she spent with them. She loved going to Henry every Sunday with the family. Although she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and family will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, LaConya Martin (Irvin), LaNeisha Cuff; sisters, Rosa M. Woods, Juanita M. Cuff (Dwight), Sarah M. Davis (Warren), Elizabeth M. Manns; brothers, Elder John L Manns (Betty Lou), Elder Bobby R. Manns (Carolyn), Nathaniel Manns (Martha), Juan Young; grandchildren, Diante K. Wimbush, Keyode J. Wells, Kiona Z. Wells,

Kai Yin M. Martin, Khadijah M. Martin; great-grandchildren, Zyana A. Green, Zuri A. Green; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Floating Visitation will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Martinsville Chapel. A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Rebirth Ministries in Martinsville, Virginia with Pastor Justin Scotty Lucas officiating. Interment will follow at Manns Family Cemetery in Henry, Virginia. A visitation will be held one-half hour prior to funeral service.
