Sherrill Jean Pinkston, 79, of Spencer, Virginia, transitioned from her earthly home Sunday, March 23, 2025. She was born June 8, 1945, in North Carolina, to the late Luther Doyle Jones and Helen Neil Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Becky Jones, and brother, Phillip Jones.

Sherrill was a hard worker who loved taking care of her home and her children. Even when working, she kept a spotless home and enjoyed the peace it brought to her. She enjoyed all things related to Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Princess Diana, listening to the music of Elvis Presley, and coloring in adult coloring books. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Roger Dale Wisnent, Sr.; daughters, Tammy Penn (Jeff), Robin Michele Pinkston; sisters, Susie Jones and Kathy Jones; grandchildren, Justin Pinkston, Alisha Pinkston, Sarah Pinkston, Norman Pinkston, Teona Pinkston, Emily Pinkston, Amy Pinkston, Angel Pinkston; great-grandchildren, Harmony, Jacob, Joshua, Bently, Summer, King, and Melanie.
