Trinity James Hood, 42, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at his residence. He was born November 6, 1979, in Martinsville, to Debra Sue Matherly Hood and the late Paul Leon Hood. He enjoyed fishing, football and bowling.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Matherly.

Trinity is survived by his mother; his wife, Kacey Gunter Hood; sons, Trinity Surber, Tyler Hood, Matthew Walker and Justin Gunter; sister, Jessica Davis; brother, Wayne Davis; and stepdad, Donald Davis.

The Memorial Service will be Monday, October 10, 2022, at 11:00 A. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
