William Robert Donovant, Jr., 76, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024. He was born July 23, 1948, in Henry County to the late William Robert Donovant, Sr. and Lillie Mae Brim Donovant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Ann Goad, Yvonne Thronton, and Sharon Baker; brother, Bobby Donovant.

William is survived by his daughters, Becky Bond and Kelly Donovant; siblings, Ray Donovant, Liz Jamison, Ruth Kendrick, Jean Hall, Linda Handy, Ronnie Donovant, and Tim Donovant; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor A.C. Palmer officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the graveside service from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM.
