63-year-old James Dillard Ley II of Danville died, police say, when he failed to yield the right-of-way in his 2009 Harley Davidson while making a left turn in Pittsylvania County and struck a Toyota truck Sunday night. On Saturday night, 43-year-old David Lee Connor of Hillsville ran his Chevy Equinox off the road and struck an embankment in Floyd County. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
