Dakota Johnson, Colin Farrell star in Taylor Swift’s ‘Patient Zero’ video

Taylor Swift will debut a star-studded music video for her new single, “Patient Zero,” during Sunday night’s 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.
The teaser for the video was released Thursday, revealing that along with Swift, the video stars Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. Swift directed the visual.
“Patient Zero” is one of four new songs Swift is releasing on Friday.
Swift said in a social media post Wednesday that the new songs were created while she was celebrating the success of her 2025 album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was last year’s top-selling album, according to Billboard.
“I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max [Martin] and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album,” Swift said Wednesday. “Really we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs.”
The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, which includes four new songs, is out on Friday and available to preorder and save now, she added.
Just two days after the songs are released, Swift is scheduled to receive the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
The award recognizes “groundbreaking music artists whose work behind the camera has expanded the possibilities of music video and advanced the art of visual storytelling,” according to MTV.
Swift is nominated for nine awards at this year’s ceremony, including video of the year and artist of the year.

Many more actors have joined the cast of the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven prequel.
Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, Lauren Ridloff and Jack Holden have joined the film’s ensemble, while Omar Sy is currently in negotiations to join the cast, ABC Audio has confirmed.
Bradley Cooper is set to write, direct and star in the prequel film. Margot Robbie will star alongside Cooper, who will also produce the film along with Robbie’s banner, LuckyChap.
Twisters director Lee Isaac Chung was previously attached to direct the film but stepped away from the project due to creative differences.
Wagner Moura, Monica Barbaro and Josh Gad are also set to star in the upcoming film. Cooper wrote the screenplay based on characters that were created by George Clayton Johnson and Jack Golden Russell. A previous draft of the script was written by Carrie Solomon.
While the film’s plot is being kept locked in the vault for now, ABC Audio has learned that it takes place in the year 1963.
The currently untitled Ocean’s Eleven prequel will arrive in theaters on June 25, 2027.
Warner Bros. launched the current Ocean’s franchise with Steven Soderbergh’s 2001 film Ocean’s Eleven. It became a trilogy that starred George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Matt Damon. Ocean’s Eleven was a remake of the studio’s 1961 film Ocean’s 11, which starred Frank Sinatra.

Attorneys for Blake Lively said in a court filing Monday that Justin Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, owes the actress $7,495,526.87 in attorneys fees connected to the studio’s defamation lawsuit against her, which was dismissed in June last year.
According to court documents, which were filed in a federal district court in the Southern District of New York, Lively is also seeking $539,514.01 in costs and expenses incurred in relation to the dismissed defamation case.
The filing comes two weeks after U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman denied Lively’s claim for punitive damages against Baldoni and Wayfarer but allowed the actress to seek attorneys’ fees under California Civil Code Section 47.1, a law designed to protect anyone who reports sexual assault, harassment or discrimination from retaliatory defamation lawsuits.
Esra Hudson, one of Lively’s lead attorneys in the case, wrote in Monday’s court filing that fees for her work on the case were discounted from her standard rate of $1,430.00 per an hour to $1,161 to $1,287 per hour over the course of the litigation.
Co-lead trial counsel Michael Gottlieb charged an average hourly rate of $2,187, according to the filing.
ABC News has reached out to representatives for Baldoni for comment.
In a statement to ABC News on Tuesday, Lively’s attorneys, Gottlieb and Hudson, said, “Thanks to this landmark decision, those considering using a lawsuit as a weapon of intimidation have been put on notice that there are consequences for doing so. The value of this ruling is in the precedent it creates, the accountability it imposes, and the protection it provides to those who may one day find themselves facing similar retaliation for speaking the truth.”
Monday’s filing is the latest in a long-running legal dispute between the former It Ends with Us co-stars, who first became embroiled in December 2024, when Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department accusing him of sexual harassment on the set of the film, which he also directed. Lively also accused Baldoni and his production company of attempting to orchestrate a smear campaign against her, allegations Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios have vehemently denied.
The two subsequently launched dueling lawsuits against one another in the months that followed, with Baldoni accusing Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, the couple’s publicist Leslie Sloane, and others of extortion and defamation, among other things. The lawsuits were consolidated into one suit in January 2025.
Baldoni’s lawsuit was ultimately dismissed by Liman in June 2025. The judge later gutted much of Lively’s case against Baldoni in April of this year, including claims she was subjected to sexual harassment on set, determining that she could continue to pursue her claims of retaliation against Baldoni’s public relations team.
Baldoni, via his Wayfarer production company, and Lively agreed to settle their ongoing dispute in May this year. Liman ruled at the time that Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios must pay Lively’s attorneys’ fees but denied Lively’s claim for punitive damages.

Battinson may be back, but he’s feeling his age.
Robert Pattinson is currently filming the long-awaited superhero sequel The Batman Part II. The actor celebrated his 40th birthday a month before filming started on the project in London this June. He told GQ in a recent interview that making an action movie feels different at 40.
“I’m in London here till the end of the year doing a Batman sequel,” Pattinson said. “It’s good. I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m literally like, ‘G******, this is significantly harder than it used to be.’”
The actor said even though making the movie is harder, it’s still “really fun” to do.
“I think the movie’s going to be pretty great. It’s got a really, really fun cast, but it’s a marathon,” Pattinson said.
The cast of The Batman Part II includes franchise newcomers and A-listers Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan, whose roles have yet to be announced. Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch also star in the Matt Reeves-directed movie.
The Batman Part II is set to open in theaters on Feb. 18, 2028. It has been delayed multiple times. The film was first scheduled to open on Oct. 2, 2026, before it was delayed to Oct. 1, 2027.
Reeves announced the most recent release date change in a video he posted to Vimeo on July 15. The video also features the first camera test footage of Pattinson back in costume as the caped crusader.
