A former employee at the W.W. Moore, Jr. Juvenile Detention Home has been sentenced for an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile inmate.
Wendy Warren, 42, received 30 months in prison after pleading guilty to indecent liberties with a child and carnal knowledge charges.
Investigators said Warren engaged in non-forcible sexual contact with a 15-year-old inmate between August 2022 and July 2023 while working as a youth care worker at the facility.
