Jennifer Coolidge is set to return in season 2 of The Watcher.
The Emmy-winning actress will return to her role as Karen Calhoun, the real estate agent who sold the Brannock family their nightmare home, in the upcoming sophomore season of the Netflix drama series.
Production on season 2 of The Watcher will begin this fall in New York, according to Netflix.
Coolidge joins the previously announced returning cast members Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, Margo Martindale and Isabel Gravitt.
Season 1 of The Watcher followed what happened to the Brannock family after they “moved into what was supposed to be their suburban dream home, and quickly became a living hell. Ominous letters from someone calling themself ‘The Watcher’ were just the beginning as the neighborhood’s sinister secrets came spilling out,” according to an official description.
Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan created the series that Brennan showruns. It is based on The New York Magazine article The Haunting of a Dream House by Reeves Wiedeman.

Music superstar Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce are officially husband and wife.
The couple wed in a ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler, a representative for Swift confirmed to ABC News Friday.
Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her “man of honor,” while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, served as his best man. They were the only members of the wedding party, according to the rep.
Both the bride and groom wore custom looks by Dior, with the bride wearing a haute couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson.
No official wedding photos have been released by the couple, who held a two-day wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden said to include more than 1,000 guests.
Celebrities including actors Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke and Jason Sudeikis, singer Benson Boone, soccer legend Abby Wambach and NFL stars Chris Jones and Cooper Kupp were photographed arriving at MSG late Friday afternoon in black-tie attire as a cocktail hour was scheduled to begin, sources familiar with the plans told ABC News.
On Thursday evening, Swift and Kelce held a smaller gathering at the arena for around 100 people, sources said.
An SUV with tinted windows believed to be transporting Swift was photographed arriving at MSG around 5 p.m. on Thursday.
For both events, a strict no-phone policy was in place for everyone inside the venue, including guests, vendors and security personnel, according to sources.
Representatives for Swift or Kelce did not confirm any details about the events.
On Thursday, just hours before their first reported event at MSG, a representative for Swift confirmed to ABC News that she and Kelce had donated $26 million to charities both in New York City and across the United States.
The “Shake It Off” singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end announced their engagement last August in a social media post that included photos of Kelce’s flower-filled proposal and a close-up of Swift’s old-mine brilliant–cut diamond ring, which ABC News confirmed was custom-designed by Kelce and jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry in New York City.
The couple’s romance began in the summer of 2023, when Kelce revealed on his New Heights podcast that he’d unsuccessfully tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number during one of her Eras Tour concerts.
Swift later told TIME she found the gesture “metal as hell,” and the two started spending time together soon after.
By November 2023, Kelce confirmed their relationship in an interview with WSJ. Magazine, praising Swift’s ability to handle intense public scrutiny.
Swift, meanwhile, revealed in her December 2023 TIME Person of the Year interview that the couple had enjoyed private time together before going public.
“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” she said at the time.
Throughout their relationship, the pair have been each other’s biggest supporters, with Swift attending Chiefs games, including Super Bowl LVIII and Super Bowl LIX, and Kelce cheering Swift on at numerous Eras Tour stops, even joining her onstage during her London show in June 2024.
Jamie Ding and Ben Affleck celebrate winning a million dollars on ‘Who Wants To Be a Millionaire.’ (Eric Mccandless/Disney)
Ben Affleck and Jeopardy! champion Jamie Ding scored the winning prize on the ABC television show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire on Wednesday. The pair earned $1 million for the nonprofit Eastern Congo Initiative.
Affleck and Ding clinched the win on a Thanksgiving trivia question.
The final question read, “In an annual Thanksgiving tradition, all but which of these have been the names of turkeys pardoned by a U.S. president?”
The four options the pair could choose from to answer the question were “Peanut Butter & Jelly,” “Tater & Tot,” “Mac & Cheese” and “Spaghetti & Meatball.”
Affleck and Ding selected the correct answer, “Spaghetti & Meatball.”
Lights flickered across the stage and confetti fell as Affleck and Ding celebrated the win with host Jimmy Kimmel, receiving an oversized $1 million check written out to Eastern Congo Initiative.
At the start of the round, which aired the previous week, Affleck shared why the Eastern Congo Initiative holds a special place in his heart.
“I’ve been working with them for about 15 years,” Affleck said of the nonprofit. “And right now, of course, as I’m sure most people know, there’s an Ebola crisis there, and so this is in large part designed to try to relieve that, contain the spread of Ebola.”
According to the Eastern Congo Initiative website, Affleck co-founded the charity with businesswoman Whitney Williams in 2010 to “elevate local solutions” in eastern Congo.
The group says its mission is to “transform humanitarian aid into a locally driven model by directly funding community-based organizations and advocating for greater international visibility for the region.”
“We support locally led organizations to expand access to essential services, strengthen economic opportunities, and promote justice,” the website states. “Our work is designed to create scalable, sustainable impact across eastern Congo.”
Affleck and Ding’s big win for charity comes one year after Affleck’s longtime friend and collaborator Matt Damon earned $1 million on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire alongside Jeopardy! star Ken Jennings, benefiting Damon and Gary White’s nonprofit, Water.org.

Paramount+ has released the teaser trailer for season 2 of the action-crime series. The show’s second season is set to premiere on Sept. 18.

As tensions within the Harrigan family intensify, their ‘fixer’ Harry Da Souza is the only one that can keep them from falling apart,” according to an official description of season 2.
The trailer finds Hardy’s Harry Da Souza speaking to a man he’s captured in the back of his van.
“This hasn’t exactly been a wonderful 24 hours for me, yeah? I’m under a lot of pressure,” Harry says. “The people that I work for, the Harrigans, they run North London.”
