Obituaries

Bobbie Jean Johnson Jordan was born in Danville, Virginia, on November 29, 1943, to the late Vivian Johnson Swain. Bobbie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 8, 2022. She worked at Corning Glass and retired from Morehead Hospital as an LPN.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Kerry; and grandson, B.J.

She is survived by three sons, Ernie (Bobette), Bernie (Tammy) and Barry (Irene); nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a very special aunt, Opal Mullins.

Family will receive friends at the home of Barry, 324 Rockwood Drive, Danville, Virginia.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 1:00 P. M. at Brosville United Methodist Church, 121 Long Circle, Cascade, Virginia 24069.
