Obituaries

On Monday, May 26, 2025, Charlene Middlebrook 97, of Scotchtown Dr., Martinsville transitioned peacefully from this earthly life at her residence. She was born in Memphis, TN on August 1, 1927, to the late Howell Woods and Gussie Woods.

In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Burnett Middlebrook and one son, Richard Toller.

Charlene was a member of Morning Star Holy Church and was a retired medical assistant.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Charlotte Toller of Martinsville, VA; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, and friends.

All services for Mrs. Charlene Middlebrook will be private.
