Obituaries

Deborah Lee Quesenberry Blevins, 67, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Sovah Health – Martinsville. She was born on May 23, 1957, in Virginia to the late Avis Lee Quesenberry and Laura Lawson Quesenberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Quesenberry.

Deborah was a devoted member of Martinsville Church of Truth and cherished spending time with her family and friends. She loved her animals-especially her birds and her dog. She loved classic cars, shopping for purses and clothes, but her most favorite thing was her favorite food, pinto beans, cornbread, and onions.

She is survived by her daughter, Whitney Blevins; her sister, Mitzie Q. Alexander (Will); and a host of other loving family members and friends.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Martinsville Church of Truth, officiated by Pastor Bill Preskitt. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mount Herman Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
