Obituaries

Diane Pruitt Hall, 70, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024. She was born March 17, 1954, in North Carolina to the late Woodrow W. Pruitt and Earlean White Pruitt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Rita Hanks and brother, Andrew Pruitt.

Diane was of the Baptist faith and was employed by Blue Ridge Nursing as a CNA for many years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing games like solitaire on the computer. Diane also enjoyed online shopping, watching television, crafting, knitting, sewing and had a love for animals. She had a mother’s heart, always doing for others and giving.

She is survived by her fiancé, Curtis Barker; daughter, Kimberly Haley (Donnie); stepdaughter, Amanda Barker; sister, Marian Suthard; brother, Jeffrey Pruitt; grandchildren, Leighia Haley, Ryan Haley (Morgan), Grayson Haley, Victoria Martin, Lillyonna Martin, and Emma Oakes; her faithful four-legged companion, Buster.
