Obituaries

Mrs. Emma Leftwich Clark, age 102 of Collinsville, VA passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Mrs. Clark was born on March 16, 1923 in Henry County, VA to George Howard Leftwich and Sallie Davis Leftwich. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Daniel. She was a member of Smith Memorial United Methodist Church. She loved to cook and shop with her granddaughter. She was a Henry County Bowler Association Woman of the year. She lived a long active life enjoying cruises with her friends and was also an avid bowler. Over her years she was employed by Collinsville Printing Company, First National Bank of Bassett and Wells Fargo.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughter, Teresa Clark Setliff, her son, Phillip Norvell Clark (Connie), grandchildren, Tara Setliff Salmons (Jonathan) and Phillip Andrew Clark, step grandchildren, Frank Paul Setliff, Deborah Setliff Mayer (Artie), Patricia Setliff (Randy) and George D. Vaughan II (Jessica), step great grandchildren, Brennan Salmons, Remington Salmons, Cason Clark and Kinsley Helvie, numerous great- great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Smith Memorial United Methodist Church, 2703 Daniels Creek Road, Collinsville, VA with Reverend Ryan Ware officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park.

A special thanks to her caregivers, Elsie Via and Lula Scales for all of your loving care for our mother and a special thanks to the Southern Area Agency on Aging, A Nurses Touch and Mountain Valley Hospice for all the loving care and comfort you provided for mama.
