Obituaries

Gloria Darlene Foster, 68, of Madison, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was born in Virginia to the late Curtis Adkins and Nina Wells Williams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Priscilla “Sally” Jordan; brothers, Danny Adkins and Timothy Agee.

Gloria was of the Pentecostal faith and led as many to Christ as she could. She had a huge heart and was always wanting to help others when given the opportunity. She loved her grandbabies and her daughter dearly and spent as much time as possible with them. Her days revolved around her little dog Me’a and she loved her red bird visitors and watching Little House.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Barnes; sister, Robin Yates; brothers, Tommy Gurley and Samuel Adkins; grandchildren, Elijah, Jontae, Jmere, and Aiden and special friend, Johnny Lester.
