Michael "Mike" Lynn Ray, age 72, of Bassett, Virginia, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at his home. He was born in Patrick County on November 15, 1949.

A celebration of life family gathering for Mr. Ray will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the residence, 1257 County Line Road, Bassett, VA 24055. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Patrick Henry Volunteer Fire Department, 3125 County Line Road, Patrick Springs, VA 24133.
