William Jeffrey Barker, 53, died Tuesday, April 9. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 16 at 12 p.m. at Roselawn Burial Park. Bassett Funeral Service is in charge.

Mary Alice Clements, 66, of Martinsville, died Sunday, April 14. A memorial service will be Thursday, April 18, at 1 p.m. at Wright Funeral Service with visitation 30 minutes prior.

Steven “Bull” Ray Durham, 66, of Cascade, died Friday, April 12. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 17, at 11 a.m. at Wilson Lillard Family Cemetery. Norris Funeral Service is in charge.

Virginia Amos Hodges, 86, Bassett, died Thursday, April 11. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 17 from 5-7 p.m. with funeral on Thursday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.

Deacon Carver Delano Lewis, 81, died Monday, April 8. Visitation will be Monday, April 15 at 11:30 a.m. at funeral at noon at High Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Hairston Funeral Home is in charge.

Langhorne Sydnor Mauck, 87, of Martinsville, died Friday, April 5. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 27 at 3 p.m. Norris Funeral Service is in charge.

Jean Marie Mayes Ramsey, 87, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, April 9. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 17 from 12-1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service. The burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

Patty Branscome Spangler, 79, of Bassett, died Thursday, April 11. Visitation will be Friday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by the funeral at noon at Bassett Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Pine View Primitive Baptist Church in Carroll County.

Josetta Lee Harris Thomas, 85, of Burlington, North Carolina, formerly of Martinsville, died Monday, April 8. A graveside service will be Monday, April 15 at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Burial Park. McKee Funeral Home is in charge.

George W. Townsend, 88, died March 5. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 21 at First Presbyterian Church. McKee Funeral Home is in charge.

Robert Earl Turner, 86, of Martinsville, died Friday, April 12. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, from 12-12:50 p.m. followed by the funeral at 1 p.m. at McKee Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
