Obituaries

Norman Carson Meeks, 61, of Penhook, Virginia, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022, at his home. He was born October 5, 1960, in Martinsville, to Mary Katherine Moore Wall and the late Clyde Norman Meeks. He had been employed by Southern Finishing as a repairman, at Leeds Music, and Stafford’s Music.

Norman was a member of First Assembly of God Church. He was a wonderful musician and an amazing guitar player. He loved to sing Elvis songs, and was an artist. He was a wonderful father, and cherished his grandchildren.

In addition to his biological father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Coy W. Wall, Jr.

He is survived by his mother; his daddy, C. W. Wall; daughter, Laken Louise Nolan; son, John Carson Meeks; sister, Toye Renee Wall; brother Stephen D. Wall; and grandchildren, Luna Hale and Jaxon Matherly.

All services will be private.
