Robert Alexander Grey, Sr., 70, of Fieldale, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, at Moses Cone Hospital. He was born November 27, 1951 in Martinsville, to the late John Grey and Metore Hall Grey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Priscilla Waller; and brothers, James Andrew Grey, John Wesley Grey, Daniel Levane Grey, and Nathaniel Woodrow Walker, Sr.

He was owner/operator of Grey’s Construction. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He liked spending time with family and was a fan of Ford Mustangs.

Robert is survived by his wife, Annie Moore Grey; sons, Robert Alexander Grey, Jr. and James Nathaniel Moore; sisters, Mary Penn, Frances Kissee (John) and Evangeline Keen; brothers, Ronnie Grey (Chrashanda), Donnie Grey (Wanda), and Alvin Grey; granddaughter, Keyena Grey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11:30 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be private.
