Obituaries

Tony Wayne Arrington, 83, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at his home. He was born October 23, 1940, in Penhook, Virginia, to the late John Herman Arrington and Ruby Estelle Robertson Arrington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny, Davis, Jimmy, and Alvin Arrington.

He was a member of Friendly Worship Center. He loved any type of sports, NASCAR, traveling, and horse races.

Tony is survived by his wife, Lillie May Agee Arrington; daughter, Dana Arrington Reilley; sister, Jean Cook; and grandchildren, Darrin Tyler Goin, and April Marie White; great grandchildren, Lucas Owen White, and Noah James White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Friendly Worship Center, 1110 Morehead Avenue, Ridgeway, with Pastor Robert Hilburn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Due to the weather, burial will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Mountain View Cemetery.
