The Virginia Fire Museum is relocating from Roanoke to Bassett. The former Bassett Furniture buildings off of Trent Hill Drive have been sold by local businessman Lonnie Tatum to the organization. They plan to turn the 28-acre property with 2.2 million square feet of building space into the nation’s largest first responder museum.
