Sydney Sweeney, Stephen Colbert among 2025 Emmy presenters

Sydney Sweeney and Stephen Colbert are among the big names set to present at the 77th Emmy Awards.

CBS and the Television Academy announced on Tuesday the stars who will present the golden statuettes at Sunday’s award ceremony.

Among the presenters are Tina Fey, Sterling K. Brown, Elizabeth Banks, Ike Barinholtz, Angela Bassett, Jason Bateman, Kathy Bates, Kristen Bell, Jennifer Coolidge, Alan Cumming, Eric Dane, Colman Domingo, Walton Goggins, Tony Goldwyn, Kathryn Hahn, Justin Hartley, Jude Law, James Marsden, Leanne Morgan, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Paulson, Parker Posey, Jeff Probst, Phylicia Rashad, Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawai, Michael Schur, Sofia Vergara and Jesse Williams.

There will also be a Gilmore Girls reunion, as both Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are set to present ahead of the 25th anniversary of the beloved drama series.

Another TV mother-daughter duo presenting are Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones. As for other presenters, Law & Order stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni are set to take the stage, as are Charlie Hunnam and Evan Peters. Hunnam is the star of the upcoming season of Netflix’s Monster series, while Peters is the show’s original lead.

Comedian Nate Bargatze hosts the Emmys live from the Peacock Theater in LA on Sunday. It airs on CBS and will stream on Paramount+.

Charlize Theron has no interest in dating within the entertainment industry

Charlize Theron is opening up about her dating preferences.

The actress, 49, said she has no interest in dating someone who also works in the entertainment industry while guesting on a recent episode of Call Her Daddy.

“I don’t think that dating somebody in my industry is a smart thing,” Theron said. “I’m not saying it’s impossible. I’m not saying that it’s not binary. I just think that in general it’s not a good thing for me.”

The actress, who is a mother to daughters Jackson Theron and August Theron, said she has been trying out dating lately.

“I can tell [you] that no man’s moving into our house while my daughters are there,” Theron said.

The actress also revealed she recently had a hookup with a 26-year-old.

“I’m sounding very cocky here, but I think it’s because I found this freedom in my 40s where I’m like, ‘Oh my God,’ so I just want to say this in perspective,” Theron said. “I’ve probably had three one-night stands in my entire life, but I did just recently f*** a 26-year-old and it was really f****** amazing and I’ve never done that and I was like, ‘Oh, this is great. OK.'”

Theron stars in the new film The Old Guard 2, which is available to stream on Netflix.

Bruce Springsteen says Jeremy Allen White was ‘wonderfully tolerant’ on ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’ set

Bruce Springsteen was often seen on the New Jersey set of the upcoming movie Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, and he tells Rolling Stone that while he enjoyed his time there, it wasn’t always easy seeing his life acted out in front of him.

Springsteen is played by Jeremy Allen White in the film, and Bruce says of being on set, “I’m sure it was much worse for the actor than for me.”

“Jeremy Allen White was very, very tolerant of me the days that I would appear on the set,” he shares. “I said to him, ‘Look, anytime I’m in the way, just give me the look and I’m on my way home.’ So the days that I got out there, he was wonderfully tolerant with me being there. And it was just fun. It was enjoyable.”

Bruce does say there was “some unusualness” watching the film being made “because the movie involves, in some ways, some of the most painful days of my life. But it was a great project.”

He says White and Jeremy Strong, who plays his manager, Jon Landau, are “both fantastic, terrific in it as were all the other actors.” Springsteen adds that Stephen Graham, who plays his dad, is “out of this world” and that everyone involved in the film “were all tremendous.”

But Springsteen wasn’t always around for the more emotional scenes. He says, “If there was a scene coming up that was sometimes really deeply personal, I wanted the actors to feel completely free, and I didn’t want to get in the way, and so I would just stay at home.”

Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere follows The Boss’ efforts to make his 1982 solo album Nebraska. It hits theaters Oct. 24.

Scarlett Johansson asked to be removed as an executive producer on Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts*’

Scarlett Johansson wants it known she had no involvement with the latest Marvel movie.

During a conversation with her Black Widow co-star David Harbour for Interview magazine, Johansson was congratulated for being an executive producer on the film Thunderbolts*. Harbour told her it made sense because her character, Natasha Romanoff, was “all over this movie” in spirit.

“I asked to have my credit removed because I wasn’t involved,” Johansson said.

“You hated the movie that much?” Harbour responded, with a laugh, before Johansson said: “No, you’re just wanting that to be the case.”

Natasha Romanoff died in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, though Johansson last appeared as the character in Black Widow, which debuted in 2021.

“I think you’d be proud of us,” Harbour said of Thunderbolts*, to which Johansson said, “I am proud of you.”

Johansson also talked about the long-term time commitment that comes with being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Some of the films that I did for Marvel engaged my character more than others. Like in [Captain America: The] Winter Soldier with Chris [Evans], we were really dynamic,” Johansson said. “In some of the other films, the cast was so enormous and there was so much plot to serve that you start to feel like you’re a device to move it along.”

She went on to say that a five-month time commitment is significant.

“It’s like, ‘Okay. I can’t paint my nails, I can’t get a haircut,'” Johansson said. “These sound like silly problems, but your identity is wrapped up in this job for a long time, and if you’re not doing engaging work as an actor, you feel a little cagey sometimes.”
