Charges against Daniel Duncan for the murder of Ricky Dodson and Vicky Purdy in 2013 will go before a grand jury. A Franklin County judge certified second degree murder charges against Duncan on Tuesday. The case went unsolved for 11 years, although Duncan has remained a person of interest the entire time. Testimony at the preliminary hearing had witnesses say Duncan admitted committing the crime.
