Obituaries

Amber Lynn Graham, 33, passed away at home on Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was born on February 11, 1992, in Martinsville, Virginia.

Amber was a devoted wife, loving mother of three, and a cherished daughter and friend. She found a lot of joy in her work as a veterinarian technician, where her love of animals shone through. Her home was filled with a pet collection so vast that her husband lovingly called it, “Amber’s Ark.” Outside of her career, Amber enjoyed painting, fishing, and local hockey games. Her down-to-earth personality and loving nature left an impression on all who knew her.

Amber is survived by her husband, Eddie Graham; three children, Kynzli, Lyrrah, and Aycen; mother, Ernestine Postell; father, Harvey Postell; two brothers, Brandan Robbins and Lee Robbins; in-laws, Douglas & Joyce Graham, and Vance & Gayle Johnson; great-grandparents, Ernie and Peggy Marlowe; and a host of other aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Amber, the family kindly requests a donation to any cancer research or animal charity of your choice.

For friends in family in the Roanoke area, there will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Oakey’s Funeral Service – South Chapel. A secondary visitation, for friends in family in the Callands area, will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at County Line Christian Church – Axton. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Dean Ashby and Tim Maness officiating.
