Obituary For Claudine Sue Farmer Wyatt

Claudine Sue Farmer Wyatt, 78, transitioned from this earthly life peacefully, without pain and regret with her sons by her side Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in Dodson, North Carolina. She was born June 10, 1946, in Pulaski County, Virginia, to the late Roby Tilton Farmer and Mary Ethel Dalton Farmer.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Ronny Wyatt; sisters, Bertha Lawson, Judy Strong, Edna Mae Bagwell; brothers, Sherman Farmer, Buddy Farmer, Jackie Farmer, and Tom Farmer.

Sue made many friends over the years as a waitress in the restaurant industry. Her neighbors loved and appreciated her, particularly for care of the community water well. In her free time, she was passionate about growing plants and flowers. She always cared for animals and adored her pet labrador, Henry. Sue often relaxed by reading good books and listening to music. She loved the story Gone with the Wind and enjoyed both reading the novel and watching the movie. The television show Gunsmoke was a favorite in her home. Regardless of how she spent her days, she always found time to make memories with her sons and her granddaughter; they were the absolute joy of her life.

Those left to cherish Sue’s memory are her sons, Ronnie Darren Wyatt of the home, Jason Monroe Wyatt (Crystal) of Axton, Virginia; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Wyatt of Axton, Virginia; niece, Imogene McMillan of Martinsville, Virginia; and several other nieces and nephews whom she loved.

The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Sandy River Medical Center in Axton, Virginia, and Mountain Valley Hospice in Martinsville, Virginia, and Dodson, North Carolina, for their tireless care and service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
