Donald Lee Workman, 68, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 5, 1955, in Welch, West Virginia, to the late Martin Eugene Workman Sr. and the late Mary Catherine Byrd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert M. Workman.

Donald was a member of Christ Church in Martinsville. He found joy in mowing the grass and staying at home. He enjoyed playing with his dog, "Harley."

Donald is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jennifer P. Workman; four brothers, Joseph F. Gutowski (Debbie R.), Martin Eugene Workman Jr., Shawn Workman, and Stevie Workman; three sisters, Donna Faye Miller, Sharon Wingfield (Ray), and Debbie Rose; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel, with Tim Bredamus officiating. A private burial will follow immediately after the service at the Gutowski Family Cemetery.
