Dorothy Elizabeth (Betsy) Pace on October 18th, Betsy Pace left us to join the graces of our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was surrounded by family. Betsy was born on December 16, 1956. She is survived by her mother, Shelby Scott Pace of Martinsville, her sister Ann Pace Coler and brother in law, Mike Coler of Wake Forest, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, David W Pace, and sister Pamela Pace Gatlin. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents John and Ruby Scott of Ridgeway and paternal grandparents John and Althea Pace of Ridgeway.

Betsy was a 1975 graduate of Drewry Mason High School and a 1979 graduate of Ferrum College. Betsy began her career with Henry County Parks and Recreation. Betsy joined the City of Martinsville in 1993, retiring in 2021 after years of serving the senior citizens of Martinsville.Betsy is fondly remembered by many for her friendliness and willingness to always help others.

A visitation and viewing will be at McKee-Stone Funeral Home, 109 Broad Street, Martinsville, Virginia will be held on Sunday October 22 at 1:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be directly following at the Pace Family Cemetery in Ridgeway.
