Gary Wayne Pedigo, age 71 of Martinsville, VA passed away on January 19, 2024.

Gary was born on March 26, 1952 to the late Benjamin Pedigo and the late Josephine Stiles Carter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Hundley Pedigo. Gary was employed by the Virginia Department of Corrections for over 25 years. At the time of his death he was employed by Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Homes as an Funeral Attendant. Gary was a past Captain and current board member of the Fieldale-Collinsville Rescue Squad.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Michelle Vaughn (Mark), two step daughters, Tricia Robertson, Shannon Whitlow (Billy) two brothers, Mike Pedigo (Brenda Jones) , Ricky Pedigo (Lisa Parsons), nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. J.D. Harmon and Rev. Blake Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
