Obituaries

Hazel Stone Bryant, 86, of Bassett, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 28, 2022. She wad born on February 29, 1936 in Henry County Sanville area to the late James Henry Stone and to the late Linnie Dove Turner Stone. She was predeceased by two brothers.

She was a member of Collinsville Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Class Sunday School.

Left to cherish her memories are two sisters; one brother; one daughter; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tracy Freeman and Pastor Steven Lackey. Burial will follow the funeral service at Roselawn Burial Park.

In special recognition of the Ladies Shawl Ministry of First Baptist Church of Bassett. The family request contributions be made to the Ladies Shawl Ministry, First Baptist Church of Bassett, 2590 Riverside Road, Bassett, VA.
