Obituaries

On October 4, 2023, John Anthony McDaniel was called to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Reynolds McDaniel. Those surviving include his father, Eugene Marvin McDaniel; his brother, E. Mark McDaniel; his sisters, Melissa Dawn Eanes, Melaina Beth McBride (Robert), Michele Nan Wright (Chris); his nephews, Robert Nathaniel McBride, II (Heather), Daniel Wayne York, Matthew Christopher Wright, Jacob Aaron Wright; his nieces, Macy Dawn McBride (Sergio), Hannah Faith McBride, and Megan Taylor Eanes.

John held his Baptist faith close to his heart. He was also a gifted athlete who enjoyed basketball and lifting weights. His other passions included training his dogs and listening to music. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. He is resting in peace with his beloved mother and precious Lord and Savior.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at County Line Christian Church with Minister Dean Ashby officiating.
