Obituaries

Kristina Rena Archer Branham, 50, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at her residence. She was born September 10, 1973 in Stuart, Virginia, to Marilyn Marie Roberts Branham and the late Kenneth Darrell Branham. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Molly and Dennis Branham; and maternal grandparents, Eileen and William Roberts.

She was a 1992 graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School, and earned an Associate Degree in Horticulture. She enjoyed growing plants and baking (she made the best Oreo dessert). Her brother was the high point of her life, and in her younger days she enjoyed pulling him in his wagon and then turning him over. She was very outgoing, always wanting to help others and making sure others were happy. She was a resilient person who always bounced back from the obstacles life presented to her.

Kristina is survived by her mother; her brother, Robert Jason Branham; nephew, Trenton Branham; ever-so-special friend, Marilyn “Neese” Waller; and her cats, BJ Footsie and Mama Kitty.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 5:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville, with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.
