Obituaries

Larry Samuel Ross, 77, of Bassett, Virginia departed this earthly realm on Thursday, March 13, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1947, in Patrick County, Virginia to his late parents Ruby Virginia and Elder James Samuel Ross.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Amanda (Mandy) Ruth Ross, Helen Ross, and one brother James Chester Ross.

He is survived by two sisters, Violet Jean Stanley and Virginia Doris Ingram, as well as a brother-in-law, George R. Ingram Jr. He is also survived by a large, loving family of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and treasured lifelong friends.

Larry was a dedicated employee at Bassett Printing Shop for many years. He lived life to the fullest, always bringing laughter to those around him with his infectious sense of humor. His memory lives on in the many lives he touched.

The family will receive friends at the Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Private Graveside Service will be held at the Carver Memorial Gardens.
