Obituaries

Miakiea Morris, 41, born to the late Dennis Johnson and Alice Morris Parker on January 6, 1981 made her flight to glory on July 26, 2022.

She leaves to mourn her two daughters Mehkiya Taylor of NY and Meniya Morris of GA, two brothers Vaughn Parker (Noel) of CT and Andrew Morris(Takia) of NY, four sisters Toni France (Lloyd), Evora Hairston (Elliot), Kirsten Wilson all of VA and Desiree Johnson(DaWayne) of MD. Maternal grandparents the late Andrew Morris and Carol Jean Morris of NY; Paternal grandmother the late Annie Sue Johnson Watkins. Two Aunts: Andrea (Eric) Penn and Cora Hudson; 3 Uncles Orlando Morris, Andrew Morris, Dennis Morris, 1 Great Aunt Mamie Scales,1 Great Uncle Bernard Johnson, 19 nieces and nephews,1 great nephew and a host of relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service chapel.
