A local funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Noon at House of Purpose in Bassett, Virginia, 2805 Riverside Drive Bassett, VA 24055. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a service held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 12:00pm at Johnson & Jenkins Funeral Home, 706 Kennedy Street. N.W. Washington, DC 20011. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A burial will take place immediately after the service at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 4001 Suitland Road, Suitland, MD 20746.
