Obituaries

Thomas Edgar Gordon, 74, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at his residence. He was born on April 25, 1948, in Concord, NC to the late Edgar Howell Gordon and Emily Campbell Gordon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherri Bradshaw and her husband, Charlie. Mr. Gordon served in the United States Army, and he was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Sovah Health-Martinsville.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Gordon of the home; sons, Daniel Gordon of Henry County, VA, and David Gordon (Mary) of California; sister, Kathy Comninaki (John) of Lynchburg, VA and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Martinsville-Henry County, 132 Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville, VA 24112.
