Tracy Claude Kennett, age 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his home in Fieldale. He was born on December 14, 1954, in Martinsville to Alonzo Kennett and Edith Padgett Kennett. He was a 1973 graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School. Tracy retired from Hanes Brands in 2017.

Tracy was a music lover and enjoyed playing golf. He was a caregiver for his brother for the past few years. Tracy was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #3739 and a former member of the Martinsville Exchange Club.

Tracy is survived by his wife, Nancy Wyatt Kennett; a brother, Mike Kennett; several cousins; and many, many friends who will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
