William Douglas Henry, 80, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Stanleytown Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on August 30, 1944, in Martinsville, VA to the late Robert Douglas Henry and Martha McDowell Henry. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Lou Henry.

Mr. Henry was a member of First United Methodist Church of Martinsville.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra White Henry; sisters-in-law, Toni Ingram (Vernon) and Deb Draper (Bill); nephews, Brian Ingram (Jodi) and Will Draper (Alison); niece, Ally Hodge (Tonya); and several great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, with Pastor David Deisher officiating at Norris Funeral Services. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Martinsville – Henry County or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
