Charges against Rosario Eggleston, 24, of Martinsville, related to a shooting in the parking lot of Tequila’s Sports Bar and Grill last year, were dismissed because the victim would not cooperate with prosecutors, and the needed evidence is still tied up in the lab.
Martinsville Commonwealth’s Attorney Andrew Hall said judges tend to get impatient with this type of situation that replays too frequently.
Hall hopes to refile the charges against Eggleston at a later time.
