Gas prices in Virginia are down 1.9 cents per gallon, averaging $2.86 a gallon today, according to GasBuddy.
The national average fell 0.9 cents per gallon last week to $2.83, up 3.9 cents from a month ago, and 21.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
AAA reports average prices in Patrick County at $2.64 today and $2.74 in Martinsville and Henry County.
